Is that Innocence....?

No, that's just the knife's relfection. So close though.


I was so close to lumping this in with cosplay. The very idea of which I despise, since this was an intense labour of love, the entire thing: frock and pinafore were hand sewn. And trust me, that's a lot of sewing. But lucky thing I remembered I wanted this as a DeviantID! Hehe. I'll probably upload another photo or two of the costume, and then I'll upload some real art.

I haven't done any personal art in along time. I guess that's because that's all going in my sketchbook.

The knife, by the way was constructed out of foamcore. First an outline was made, then cut out using scalpels, then sanded down using a nail filer. It was then spraypainted silver, then red acrylic paint was added for blood, which unfortunately started flaking off >_< The handle was then wound with black electrical tape. It was light, relatively accurate and cheap ^_^
